Default Oregon and Washington anglers please read the following.

This was sent to me by the Oregon Bass & panfish club which I've been a member for all my life.Washington State had previously closed all recreational fishing throughout their state and in shared waters with Oregon. Effective April 10th, Governor Brown further closed Oregon’s fisheries to non-resident anglers with the intent of limiting cross state recreational travels

Please note in the Hills Canyon area on Idaho and this includes Oregon that all parks are closed you can't even launch a boat You can launch a boat at Hewitt Park in Richland Oregon the park is only for Day use only And please note again if you or out of state income to Oregon to Fish or Hunt it is illegal for you to do so now Read above post.

Currently poor for crappie, good for smallmouth and fair for channel cats. After the rising water stabilizes and the crappie recover from the drawn out spawn it will be good. Sometime in late June/early July.

Another update we went last night 26 May and we were catching crappie in the powder River Armory in Hewitt Park they are not big they were average from 10 to 11 or so inches lots of perch and of course the smallmouth are all over the place but there was four or five of us fishing off the bank and we were catching a variety crappie everyone was catching so that is good news.

That is good news. Maybe it's rounding the corner now to consistent fishing. I thought you had already moved on to Texas.

I went into town to do some prep work on my boat and spotted some guys cleaning fish on the grass at the old section of the motel. I stopped and talked to them and they had at least 200 in their box. Night fishing on structure. Their friend, who knows Brownlee well, was here last week and blanked. Definitely getting better.
