Default for you guys at fish Brownlee reservoir snake River.

here is the latest report on Brownlee Brownlee reservoir now is down 30 feet far as I know the crappies are still running small but still good numbers if you going to fish Brownlee I suggest doing that before the water gets too low this is a sad situation every season for them to drop the reservoir it sure cuts into the economy locally in Richland Oregon also neighboring sporting good stores as far as the tackle goes in along with every other major store and retailers in the area of Baker County also Idaho side takes a big hit. 8-9-14

The level is not quite that bad Bob. Today the reservoir is 19' below full pool. Launching is not a problem at the main Hewitt Park ramp. I agree with you, business is very slow. Partly my own fault due to turning business away last year when there were no catchable crappie. Now I need to get my clients back. My last charter was 8/6. Fishing was very good. While the crappie are not as big as we like them it's a strike most every drop. The biggest are rounding up behind the head and getting thicker. Catfishing was also good, with 1 pole out we caught 8 nice channel cats while crappie fishing. Between the drastic spring water fluctuations and no crappie limit this truly is a boom or bust fishery.

My last day out was the 21st. I had a party of 3 that caught 400 in 6 hours. It's been that way all year. They're still feeding but there's just not much interest now. Lots of hunting seasons going on now.

Went fishing today out a Hewitt Park out of Richland Oregon caught 55 fish we were field testing a brand-new plastic bait which we called the crappie bug it is a 1.5 that we were using it held up real good the fish took it really deep in these plastic baits are available on my website we will be coming out with a 2.5 also a 3 inch at the fish are really strong lots of them there running about 7 inches so there little bit bigger from spring here is a picture of the plastic bait that we caught the fish on.
