Default Does every lake in Washington freeze in the winter??

I've been in WA since Sept. and haven't gone fishing yet. It's making me nuts!! I'm looking to go find some Crappie this weekend. From reading reports it seems Silver Lake is frozen. I'd love to take out my kayak, but if not some docks would be great to fish off of. Any tips and info would be greatly appreciated.

I live in Eastern Washington, just about as close to Idaho as you can get. And YES, around here they all freeze over during winter.
Where you go is less important than how you take the steps.
    But don't forget the Roadrunners

Depends on where you are in Washington. Lakes on the west side almost never freeze unless they're way up in the mountains. Lowland lakes might get a skin on them if there's a cold snap, but in the 30+ years I lived there I never saw a lowland WA lake with safe ice.
    Don't worry, catch crappie.
