You can blame me Scalecarp. I got the last model they had. It was an "open box" so they gave it to me for about $80 after tax:D. It's great though. Built in maps of every lake in the state and the graph shows great detail.

I have an eagle 1000c its about a $500 unit and its been good until today. The ping speed wont do 100% and I kept losing contact with the bottom in deeper water. I have some adjustments I can make but I have one unit in the shop now, and dont want to have 2 out !
