Went to Alder last weekend. Lagemouths are sittin on the beds by stumps and weeds 2-11ft deep. Caught a dozen crappie in the same place mostly by stumps. Not very big though. I want to catch some nice slabs this weekend. Anyone have any suggestions?

A little birdy told me the far North end and eastside of Tanwax is giving up some nice crappie right now;) . You have to work for them but they are there. A few pushing 13".Quote:

went out to burbank and coulon today to do a little perch fishing. got a lot of hits and a few perch at burbank. and a big squafish. after that i went to coulon and the fishing was very slow there. only got a couple small ones there. i dont think i am going to go to kapowsin unless the weather gets better soon.
Kokanee King Strikes again! (even though I lost about 8 fish!) For sive comparison the kok at the to is 13in. two bows in the mix.
