I haven't heard much on steelhead so I cannot give a report on them on the snake River Brownlee is down 20 some feet you cannot launch a boat at the upper end of Hewitt Park you can steal launch a boat in the main both launch in Hewitt Park very risky please use caution they may drop the water suddenly and you will not get back out I would say another foot or two with the mud so please call before you decide to launch in the Powder River arm at Hewitt Park fishing is spotty they were catching crappie at a Hewitt when the water was up in the pound and a half to 2 pound range since the water has dropped I would assume that the fishing has backed off we only seem to boats today one was up on the parking lot and one was launched if that tells you anything at all just make sure that you call before you come on over you can call the hitching post in richland Oregon and talk to them their they will give you all the details in fishing reports up to date.

Thanks for the report. I caught steelies last weekend but they were are coming to the end of the run I think because all the fish coming out now seem to have color. Locally (Yelm) good reports are coming in on the Cowlitz. Plenty of fish that are chrome are being caught and in good numbers. I had my luck flossing the fish but the river was not deep. I'm hoping to make a run on the Cowlitz tomorrow. The picture is from last weekend.Name: 2012-03-25 18.17.53(1).jpg

a report on Brownlee reservoir on the Powder River arm in Hewitt Park you cannot launch a boat now the water is too low I do not have any reports on Oxbow or Hells Canyon pools I would imagine that they are catching some fish but probably a little bit slow yet try to get reports on them later but for the ones that fish Brownlee reservoir please check before you come over it's a sad situation the water is too low and I hate to see this it brings a huge loss to our local businesses.

Thanks for the report. Seems it's still a bit on the cold side for Brownlee.

I'll be heading for Strike tomorrow. Usually the two are very similar when it comes to fishing conditions. It's been in the 70s over the past couple of days here in Boise. I'm hoping that will warm things up.
    Don't worry, catch crappie.

many of you asked for information either by e-mail to me or by a PM on here I am posting a business card here for up to date reports immediately this person also has a guide service in he fishes for catfish and crappie depending on what you are wanting to fish for so make sure if you are a long ways away to give Bob a call he can tell you on when you call him I briefly checked in with the local fishermen and try to put a report on here if I hear anything really good we also report if the fishing has been off so far and we will continue to report when we can but please check with Bob on the business card for up to date minute by minute reports.
