What's up Slab? What's the latest word around the camp fire about the monster slabs. I've been fishin' Ohop a trout lake a lot lately. Ohop is pretty much a gaurantee catch. Trout is rather finiky these days some days are great and others flat out suck. We went to Mardon last Thursday night and fished till Friday evening and got azz tore up. Their were four of us and a woman won all three bets with one fish. She won first fish, biggest fish and most fish with one 2 1/2 lb bass. A good time was had by all though. The two days the fish always seem to bite is the day before I get there and the day after I leave. So if you hear a report about a lot of fish being caught on Saturday, it's probably true............ Holla atcha boy sometime, we should schedule something before the snow level drops..... By the way I went out to Westport about a month ago and did some salmon fishing. Caught more sharks than I did salmon...

Hey. CC1......shark is good eating, especially if smoked. Good to see you posting again! Winter must be closing in on the NW country by now, and I know how cold it can be. Do folks up there do any ice fishing? Something I've always wanted to try, but I would have to have one of those fancy little "ice huts" to stay warm. Wish you the best, Chris. You should visit the LA board more often, it's good to hear from you.

I'm still here. I've been so busy lately that I have not had much time to fish. That's a nice dog fish man. We used to fish for them at night of the piers downtown using sandshrimp. They put up one hell of a fight :D.

We've been doing some night fishing over the past few days and the crappies are on a HOT bite right now. The slabs have not moved in yet but they should move in over the next few weeks. Lots of smaller crappie from 7-10", a few largemouth and more perch then I'd like to clean.
