Default Had a great day on Diascund this past Sunday

Fishing minnows. Most hit it on the drop, deeper in the water column. Those that didn’t hit it on the drop would usually take the bait when I dropped all the way to the bottom and then reeled up a turn or two. Loaded the stringer, but had one that just looked so much shorter than the others, that I wanted to cull it. Caught a lot of non keepers as well while trying to cull. But I ran out of minnows, so I released him and headed home.

Also caught a nice Bass, a little Bass, and fought something for quite a few minutes before it broke my 4# fluorocarbon line in a surge. Don’t know if that was a Bass, Catfish, Bowfin, or something else, but it was strong, and I had a hard time getting any line in on the fight. Never came to the surface to see it. But it had my little Sam Heaton Super Sensitive Rod bent the whole time. Fun fight.

    All the best,
    Glenn

Those that break the line and you never see are world record Crappie. That is my story and I'm sticking to it. Sure you can't prove it but no one can disprove it.
