    Default Briery Creek

My son and I are in town from Indiana and can fish Monday. We were looking at Briery Creek. Was hoping for any insight on baits, colors, and presentations. Looks to be plenty of structure. Briery Creek

I've been taking advantage of the crappie spawn this week using 1/16th oz. tube jig head and 1.5 inch chartreuse mini-tail tube jigs on about a 2.5 foot, 6 lbs monofilament leader.

If you find nice shady spot or bridge during the day, just pitch it into or near the shade. Count 3 seconds, pull in the slack and reel in.

I see other guys in the mornings and evenings having success with weighted bobbers and jig about a foot and a half under the bobber. This seems to work when the sun is not so bright.
