    Default Anybody fishing Diascond lately?

Starting to see some water creeping back toward 64 when i pass by. Was mud and stumps all winter. Is the crappie fishing any good or bad?

Has the water rose enough to launch a bass boat?

I got out there Sunday and dont recall seeing any fiberglass boats if thats what you mean. Plenty of tin boats. Parking lot was full, may have been a bass tourney. First time on the res targetting crappie, but ended up landing 5 between 11-15"...lost one. plus caught 3 bass(one 3-4lber) and a bowfin, all on a crappie magnet and 1/32 jighead

Its still really low, but you could launch Im guessing. Guys have to go the long way around the island just out from the ramp. Water was probably 6" to the west of the ramp between that island

Havent been in a while. Water has been very low. Memorial weekend is my tourney on that saturday. I typically leave them alone and let them spawn in the spring, targeting other fish elsewhere. Be VERY careful if launching a larger boat.

You can hang a stringer over the side of your yak. Thats what i do. But they dont have to be live, but would be preferred if release is an option. I also give trophy plaques to live release of 15" or better fish. Hope you can make it.
