Default Northwest River Sunday the 19th, 40 crappie

Took my Lund out for the first time since a trip to Buggs on Nov. 13th and first time fishing since Dec. 30th. (yes, I am a lucky man, I have 2 boats-16' Lund with 75hp and 14' Alumacraft with a 9.9hp) 40 crappie and all but 1 or 2 were caught 5' down in roughly 7' of water. It was a pattern that worked so I stuck with it. Vast majority were caught casting Kalins Money Jig, officially called Kalins Triple Threat Shad.

This color has always done well for me at that river. Sorry guys, no yellow perch were caught, the only non crappie was a flier.

I showed surface water temp at 52 when I arrived and 55 when I left.
