Default NW River report. Many fish. Zero perch.

Fished from 9-5 today out of Bob’s. Plenty of crappie, bream and bass. No perch. James said he hadn’t seen one nor heard of one. Pretty day. Long ride home. I’m beat.

Did you notice the water temp? I read in a report on DWR's website that they go up the rivers to spawn Feb - Mar and when the water is 45° - 50°. Can't help to wonder how they are doing down at Indian Town.

I had the same results yesterday, we had to sort thru a lot of crappie but ended up with 15-20 over 11 but not one perch.

AT 9am, surface temp was 41-43. It was 48 when I left. Talked with a guy using his livescope. Pulling crappie out of a small piece of cover in 14' of water. But he caught fish deep, right on the bottom and all the way up the bank, including very shallow right up next to cypress knees. He wore them out. Nice to meet you Rick.

Thank you Dayton, hope you had a easy drive back home !! went back out today and caught around 29 crappie , 2 pike, 7 small bass ....really love this live scope gives you a whole different look at how these fish behave, and lets you really fine tune your fishing

Hey Rick. Welcome. Glad you got on them again. Right after you left. Marked a stick with 8-10 fish on it. I caught one crappie as soon as the minnow hit the water. I dropped a marker buoy and called the two guys in the little jon boat to come fish it. Poor guys drove right on top of it and dropped 2 cinder blocks on top of it. Nothing. I showed them a slip cork setup so they could fish deeper than 4’ next time. Caught a few more big bream off the RR tressle before I left.

    I had a good day.
