Definitely a fun day. Never targeted crappie specifically until last year and really got hooked on em, excited to learn from the people here on this forum and more time on the water this coming year

Y'all hold your horses on spring!
Winter time is my favorite time of the year by far to fish.
Best time of year to catch a true trophy fish IMO!

Nice mess. I’m ready to fish. I like winter too. When you find them you generally find a bunch. I love spring too but spring has fish strung out from 6” to 30’ of water and them move around on a whim or 1 degree of water temp. Muddy warm water. Wind blown shallows. I prefer them bunched up
