    Default I went. I fished. I caught a few.

Been down a while. Had shoulder surgery. Out of sling and PT going pretty good. Figure reeling is good therapy. Went out this morning s as d watched the 225 bass boats of the BASS Open go by. Then I did some exploring. Found a few crappies and some tiny, hungry white perch.

    Was good to get out.

Attended the Bass weigh in yesterday. Va DWR there checking fish and working the 2 big, live release pontoon boats. They have tagged bass in the Chick to monitor nature movement as well as movement when caught in the Chick and taken back to Osborne Landing in Henrico. Specifically mortality and possible return to the Chick.

There were tagged fish logged at the weigh in.

Hope all of you guys and gals are doing well.

Good report. Glad you were able to get out. What type of shoulder surgery did you have? I had rotator cuff surgery a few years ago. It was tough!

Warm and light wind. Tide was right from 6-8pm. Had the itch again. My wonderful wife said she would like to go. So away we went.

We didn’t keep any. They were stacked in a small spot. Incoming ride was almost dead. Current carried the minnow into the sweet spot. Life is good.

heck yea buddy, hope the shoulder heals up nice and quick. I was wanting to go out to the scales and see the weigh in but i figured parking was going to be a nightmare over there. great to see you out catching again. i'm 0-4 on the crappie. if it wasnt for the shad run i'd have given up on the james by now... always learning something tho.
