NW river has been tough lately, due to rapidly fluctuating water levels but when it stabilizes it should get better.

Ring perch should be showing up in January.

Try to keep you distance from the duck hunters till the end of January. If you are fishing up to 100 yards downwind of their decoys, you are spoiling their hunt.

I understand, but Northwest River is my back yard. They don't have exclusive rights to the water. I spider rig so I am moving and don't stop to bother them. Its the people who pull up right by them and drop bobbers.

They can't move. Their season is short. The time the ducks fly is limited, so before 9 AM alt least, give them a break.

I know you have the right to fish there, but just because you have a right to do something doesn't mean it's right to do.
