Default Lake Gaston water depth question

What is the water depth on Gaston's Poplar Creek above the boat ramp like? Im looking to buy some property maybe at Tanglewood Shores and the chart I have, the water depth stops at the bridge. Im sure its shallow but how shallow. I have a 17' john boat so I can go shallow but I worry about stumps. Hows the crappie fishing in Poplar creek also?

Blacklab25- I have rented the house at 959 Hawthorne Drive, Bracey, Virginia which if you google you will see is towards the back of one of the arms in Popular Creek. There was about 3-5 feet out in front of that dock. However, going back further from there it did shallow more to a flat with scattered stumps. We had a small group of bass boats down for an extended weekend. We had no issues getting back and forth to the house and yes Popular creek has some good fishing in it. Even caught a 15lb striper one day I was there in the creek. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info. Still looking as to where I possibly want to buy. Im leaning towards the NE section, but anywhere on the north side would work. Im coming from the eastern shore of MD and its a 4.5 hour trip minimum.
