Default Where to fish Saturday 5-16-20

Hey all, looking to wash some jigs Saturday. Thinking about lake
Anna, lower James or Sandy River. What y’all think? I know it’s supposed
To be decent weather with a big warm up by Friday so you know the crazies will be out. That’s the only down side to being “essential” at the
Moment. I can’t seem to get away from 60 hr weeks. Definitely not complaining about the hours just need to catch a fish or two.

Hope y’all are doing well and staying safe.

Went out Saturday am. We have a new baby, 5 months new, and decided we’d get out after she ate breakfast. Got her settled with the sitter and headed to Anna about an hour behind my schedule. Launched and headed up to Stubbs Bridge to start my hunt. Saw 3 boats anchored up on the pilings I wanted to fish. Side scanned under their boats on my way through and looked to be fish under them. Anywho, gave them space and headed up lake and found some brush in 15’ of water that had a few fish. Caught a couple super chubby 8-9” fish and decided to just go scan more areas. 25 waypoints later mama bear was tired of the chop and we called it a day. All in all it was a fun “date” on the water. Got to the launch and watched my wife thread the needle between all the first timers and get the trailer set perfect. Just as I went to idle into my trailer my alarm went off and I lost power t my engine. I’m running an 2003 Yama/merc 115. I just assumed that I over heated somehow idling and waiting for our turn to pullout. I get the boat on the trailer with my Fortrexx and we head home. I pull in the garage and check my motor again. Same alarm and it won’t turn over. I’m hoping low oil sensor and I can change it myself. In the case of me being wrong in my diagnosis, per the usual, does anyone in the Powhatan, Amelia, Goochland or Chesterfield know of a good ole Mercury boy that they trust?

Hope everyone else had a good weekend and got some fish.

Not to be a smart xxx or anything, but check your oil levels with your alarm going off and failure to start. May be the issue

Not a smart xxx reply at all, that was my hope. Oil level was clean and where it needed to be. I was hopeful that was the case. Thanks for commenting

I forgot to mention it was a 4stroke. I was typing Faster than I can think I guess. Thanks Wellswings, I’m hoping so too.
