Default Saturday on the North River, March 28, 2020

My old man taught me about proper social distancing a long time ago, when I was a boy. So, I went fishing on the North River last Saturday.

The water temperature was 58* in main river, but reached 65* in small cove where I fished.

I fished about 3' deep in 6' of water. I used a minnow and hair-jig combo.

I lost some wheel bearings on the boat trailer on the way home. The roadside repair cost me about 3 hours of additional time and $40 of additional money. That made the day the best of times and the worst of times, but I stayed focused on the fishing...

Is that a hollow body? If so, how to you rig it? Do you slide it over the jig head, pop the jig eye thru and then tie to it? Or can you have the jig already tied on and rig it?

Vic I haven't seen a post in some time from you. Thought that you might have dropped off the face of the earth. Yellow perch were nice this year, up around Smith Creek.
