    Default Caught a few nice ones with my stepson


    Last weekend in Suffolk I caught 31 crappie with the biggest at 1lb 13oz so I took my stepson to the same spot today and while we only netted 24 crappie his two biggest went 1lb 11oz and 1lb 7oz.

    He beat me as my two biggest went 1lb 8oz and 1lb 5oz. Fished in 4'-5' of water 1' deep with best luck throwing a 1/16oz electric chicken jig. Went all over the lake but only had luck at this one spot. I showed surface water temp at 62 when we arrived and 67 when we left.
