    Default Yellow perch

When are the perch in the chick. I’m more than a hour away so I’d like to go when chances of catching more than 1 or 2 are high. Any help would be greatly appreciated

The end of janurary is when i see them targeted. Look for vertical jiggers at the dam. A mixed bag of yp and crappie should be able to be had.

Usually when the daylight gets right ( longer) and water temperature rises perch will migrate. I live 4 1/2 hours away and understand your thoughts. However we all have to pay some dues to catch fish. Just go and try I am sure you should start to catch some.
