Hey, I might be ugly but at least I'm not the height of the average 2nd grader.
Just can’t find the crappie in the James. Went searching today. Scanning. Found a bunch of fish in one spot. 100’s. Figured sure they were Shad. Pitched a minnow and it was gone. They ate my minnows up. Fast and furious. Switched to crappie jigs. They loved them. Every color. Curly tail. Strollers. Baby Shad with straight tail. Solid tube with forked tail. Used 6 colors. They didn’t care. Called my wife. She said to pick her up at the dock. She doesn’t care much about fishing. She likes ‘catching. We had a blast. They just kept biting until we ran from a rain cloud.
I’m tired. I feel like Boscoe looks!!
Think I’m ready for s trip to Biggs. Roy?

Say what you wish Pretty Boy. I may be short but my BMI is amazing. I've heard my doctor say Wow more than once.

Looks like your tuned up and ready for Buggs. Hopefully we'll find a few crappie. Great that your wife got to go out and share in the fun. I like catching anything that puts a bend in my rod. That "dollar bill" bass was a good one!
I do a dozen fishing shows each year and many are local BASS shows. As I was doing a presentation some asked me how I was doing ice fishing ( it was late January). I started out by saying my catch of panfish was down on two local lakes and pointed to the special regulations on keeping largemouth bass. Next question was about a third lake with regular Pa fishing regulations. I told them I was doing much better since I was throwing all the bass I caught on the bank to protect panfish. Then I said I threw 5 or 6 3 plus lbs ers on the bank yesterday. One guy looked kind of red faced and said that was the size of the winning bass at there last tournament.I then explained I was kidding and a few sighs as they realized I was just kidding. Thank goodness no one was packing heat!
