Thread: Gaston 7/11

Fished my brushpiles Thursday. Most of my piles had fish and i was very pleased with how they have produced. Some I thought would be great have yet to accumulate any fish. Most brush on deep points about 20 feet down. Fish were averaging 9 to 15 feet down. Fish were smallish in the 10 to 11" range. Caught a few 13 to 14". Used jigs. I also caught 6 channel cats. It was hot but I had a good time and the wife enjoyed the fillets. I saw fish on the Peahill creek bridge but during the day it's to crazy to fish it. Does anyone know if you can fish around Eaton Ferry bridge yet? I haven't been that far up the lake in a while to see if the keep out bouys were still in place.
