    Default NWR 6/6/19

Well I had a couple hours so I took the kayak and put in at Bob's. Caught a lot of small crappie. Nothing special didn't even take a picture. I did catch a bunch of nice bluegill which pulled me around in the kayak. The bluegill were in about a foot and a half to two feet of water the crappie were 4 foot down suspended over six to eight feet of water. I can never figure out why my pictures are sideways.

Forgot to mention every thing I caught yesterday was on hand tied bucktail. Just the plain white with red thread I have been tying for years.

I never have figured out why, when the water is rising on the NWR, the big crappie all disappear and the small ones turn on.

This is just a guess but it may have something to do with the salinity going up.
