For this forum, it’s sure dead and gone.

It's been dead for several years now. Some of us old timers have tried several times to revive this board but it just doesn't seem to work. If you post an actual fishing report you may see several hundred people have viewed it and maybe get a couple of responses. Kinda like beating a dead horse.

Special K's post is still around. I moved it here to it's own thread: https://www.crappie.com/crappie/way-...-im-convinced/
It was reported as politics and I agree that there was some. Sorry, no politics please, too many emotions. But it's still available on the WOT forum.
Seems like most folks are using Facebook these days. These type of forums are going by the way of the dinosaur....extinct.
Prior to my wife passing in 2013 I fished every weekend and posted every weekend (was averaging 65 trips per year) but fast forward ahead nearly 5 years and with the new wife I am only averaging around 23 trips per year, heck, I have only gone 8 times this year and it's nearly half over. Also seems as if when I go there is nothing to report about. My first 6 trips this year netted a whole 16 crappie total. I am however spending a lot of time on the golf course. It's hard to do both. Wife would lay an egg if I fished on Saturday and golfed on Sunday.
I did move into a new house just over a year ago and have a small 1.5 acre pond out back that I can catch a few crappie on. All are small though. I did sink some structure two weeks ago and hope it brings them up behind my house.
Two like this and one smaller one just like it.
My last trip out, May 18, I went to Chick Lake and got 26 but none over a pound. Prior to that it was May 4 at Burnt Mills where I got 30 with my biggest at 1lb 3oz and 1lb 2oz. I will try to post more often when I do go. I have met a lot of good guys on this site and have even fished with a handful of them.
