    Default Blackwater Creek 5/16

Not too bad of a day. Caught plenty of fish kept 8 for the fryer. Pretty good averages. Most of what I caught were females in two and a half feet of water. Most were spawned out and only one I filleted had eggs. Pretty odd trip for me out there. None of my old spots produced anything. I was a little surprised that they are still so shallow. Mostly I used buck tails that I tied but I also had minnows which did about the same. Towards the trading Post and beyond was pretty muddy so I stayed in the bends. Sure was better than going to work! Name: IMG_20190516_202133.jpg

    Nice catch,
Did you launch at the Trading Post? Curious if they did any work on the ramp when they remodeled the store

I launched at the pungo bridge. I used to be able to launch at the trading post with the old boat but the one I have now is too big. I would guess that they haven't done anything with that ramp as it looks the same but I would call and ask them.
