Default Planning ahead for Kerr 2020

My daughter works in an accounting firm, so we babysit until April 15, but next year I hope to go to Kerr for a week in late April.

I have fished Bluestone creek in the past, but I really don't know the lake. I would appreciate recommendations on what part of the lake to consider and good places to rent a cabin where I could dock my boat.

I don't need to know any secret spots, just enough to find my own while they are relatively shallow.

Before all my fishing buddies died we went over there for a week every spring. We mainly fished Buffalo Creek but once in a while went to other creeks. We stayed at The Little Retreat which is in the boondocks. We really liked it there. Its been several years since I've been there and I know the place was up for sale. They have a pier but you have to use the dirt ramp down the road and it can be a hassle or you can use the Buffalo Landing ramp at the mouth of Buffalo Creek. Like I said its been years so I don't know the status of it now. Perhaps get more info on the
