Sounds pretty good to me man!
We started with a trip to the Rappahannock at Fredricksburg. All anglers did well on Shad. However Saturday nights rain stained the water making catch rates a little slow Sunday morning.Sunday Pm: I fished the Chick from the barges at Rockahock and did poorly. I caught a few nice crappie the next day fishing Little creek res. from the boat launch. Also a toothy critter cut my jig off after a few seconds of getting hooked. Next day I rented a boat from Wallermill park. I got a tip that the crappie fishing was hot in a cove near the dam breast. You could not prove it from my catch. I got two decent crappie a white perch and two largemouth bass. One was 17 inches so there was some excitement so to speak.
The weather was almost too nice and I started to get a sun burn. You know what they say. A bad day of fishing is better then a great day of work. All in all a very nice trip!

I haven't been to that place for some time. Rather hard to get my boat on the trailer there with out my motor. I have never caught many fish there also.
