    Has anyone fished Rural Retreat lately? With the high water around me I thought I might give it a go on Thursday. If anyone has been there lately let me know.

    First cast caught a small crappie..Second cast lost one..They then got tight lipped..Found one bunch stacked up but the rest were scattered & moving..

    I wonder if they were on the way up to some shallower water... looks like you caught your fish right across from the shelters

    Oh wait that’s much further down... I bank fish and have never been down that far... did you try any of the shallow water on the upper end?
