Default Western Branch Boat Ramp - Closing

As most of you already know, we are going to install a new floating pier at the Western Branch Boat Ramp. The contractor is going to close the property to the public March 18 through April 19 to do all of the required work. If they are done sooner, we will reopen earlier.

    Thanks for your understanding.

    Thanks David.

Question: I’d a 77 year old man in chesterfield wants a permit to fish Prince, does he need the regular non-resident or the Senior permit?

Dayton here's a link, the way I read it just says seniors, but I'd call to be sure.

We've received a few phone calls about opening the ramp on weekends. The ramp is not accessible due to the equipment needed to install the new pier, which includes a "dam" so that the contractor can de-water the area to drive pilings. Please pass this on to others.

DO TO DELIVERY ISSUES THERE HAS BEEN A DELAY IN COMPLETING THE PROJECT. THE WESTERN BRANCH BOAT RAMP WILL REMAIN CLOSED ANOTHER WEEK.

As soon as the construction of the new floating dock is complete we will reopen the ramp to the public.
