    Default Gaston 10-25 with Gene

Me and Gene just had to make another trip to Gaston. We had a great day. Caught 40 crappie with only 1 fish under 10 inches. Gene was a big fish machine today, his biggest was 2.25, one more right at 2 pounds and several more from 1-3/4 to 1-1/2 pounds. Our biggest 7 weighted 11lbs, 6ozs. All fish caught on jigs, all released. Thanks again Gene, had a blast!!Name: 2018-10-25 17.17.22.jpg

Do the crappie stay there into winter or will they leave that location Roy? I don't know much about how crappie are going to react to falling water temps.

Must fish,I will post fishing at Gaston once in awhile this winter, this is a strange year with all the water we got so far, will have to see how it plays out.will be awhile before I go back to Gaston, hope it will be settling down by then, and till January fishing should be great, with your units you should be able to find them
