    Hey guys, I’m looking to start using jigging spoons what weight ones do y’all use and what’s the best line and line size? I’m all new to spoons all advice is greatly appreciated

    I'd use 1/8oz, 1/4oz & 1/2oz Kastmaster Spoons or possibly even Hopkins Spoons ... "dressed" version of either.

    I'd also dig out my lure retriever setup and have it handy !!

    I hadn't finished what I was saying Jigging spoons the cc spoon from Walmart, they are cheaper but works as good as any I seen

    I have caught crappie and Ring perch on Nungesser spoons (#000) glo-2gw in the lower Chickahominy river creeks slow trolling ,shallow, under a clear bobber.

    i use a 1/8 hopkins cc ....put a barrel swivel on the top end and change the hook to a size bigger in the red color...deadly vertical jigging....
    My wife swears I only do enough surveying to support my hunting & fishing because I'm too busy hunting & fishing !
