    Default Suffolk, 7/13/18

Took my daughter and two of my granddaughters to Suffolk today. I knew the young ones wouldn't last long, but it was a productive 2.5 hours. I don't think we hit 50 total, but it probably wasn't too far from that. Color did not matter, but they sure seemed to favor the 1/16 oz. jig. I guess the fall was critical, not sure. All fish caught over 12', 4-6' down. Most were cookie cutters, 10 - 10.5". We kept 10 for dinner tonight, all from 11" - 15". Nice morning on the lake and we left before it got too hot.

Thanks for the report. Sounds like a nice day even if it was short.

Great post and catch. A couple of hours to make a memory and a meal, good investment by all.
Pass the "Sportsman Baton" on before you're gone, promote values for others to hunt and fish upon.
