    Default Lake Motel in Clarksville

Hello all. I’m planning a fishing (crappie) trip July 14-18 to Buggs Island and trying to find a place to stay. Can anyone give me information about Lake Motel in Clarksville? Says they have boat parking and electric hookups. Any information good and bad is appreciated. Thanks.

We use to stay there when we went for a 2 or 3 day trip. For our annual week long trips we stayed at a cabin at The Little Retreat. The motel is on the lake and a good clean place to stay. It does have lots of boat/truck parking places with an electrical outlet (just make sure it works) for each rig. There is a decent restaurant right next door which is convenient and you do have a couple fast food joints close by. The only time there is a problem is when there is a big bass tournament going on. Wish I was going too. OH, don't forget to unplug your extension cord when you leave in the mornings. You get a lot of attention when you are driving across the bridge dragging a 50' cord. Don't ask how I know.

If possible I would suggest the cabins at the State Park as well. They are very nice and your rig is safe.

Thanks for the help. I have found a rental house. Hopefully the weather and crappie will cooperate now!

Don't forget to check bridge pilings ,first piling on right on new bridge next to marina is good, old bridge 2 and 3 on each end are good ,will also get you out of sun for a while ,just a thought.
