Default Mixed Bag on the NWR

I didn't get on the river until 11 AM because of truck problems, but there were fish to be caught. Mostly crappie plus a couple of yellow perch and bream.

The fish were scattered widely in 9 to 15 ft, about 6 feet down.

I released 2 pickerel and one bass about 5 lbs.

(Can anyone tell me how to rotate these pictures)

Anyway, a lot more fun than last time.

Wonder if there were more perch there, tight to the bottom?

There may have been more perch, the ones I caught were closer to shore, 4 to 6 feet of water. Caught them on a stump jumper reeled slow casting toward shore while working the spider rig in 9 to 12 ft. Caught the bass the same way. But I was really trying for crappie, not perch so someone trying for the perch might have gotten more.
