    Default New rig

got me a new boat for this year. I have a 19ft sea pro CC but its just to hard to control for spider rigging. Any suggestions on the cheapest way to set the front up to run 8 rods

I use 2 sets of Hitec rod holders up front, a set of 4 on each side on 24" high holders. I sit up front on the higher deck so the reach is very easy. Works good for me.

I dont know what you want to spend but There is a pair of drift masters for sale on the main forum in personal classifieds . Hes asking 160.00 for them thats including him shipping them to you! not a bad price ! I belive new that they would cost you at least 115.00 each and that isnt including shipping! That would be a quick fix on what you are looking for and look good!!! Hope this helps.

Id like to have um all separate to keep all the other ones from bouncing when a fish hits one. I was thinking of use in a pieces of 3/8 all thread and screw it into the bases I already have and use a coupler then screw the rod holder into that and make it bout 18 inches high. I just don't no if it will be sturdy enough

I have tried most of the rod holders. Have had Tite-Lok on the front for some time now. I love them so much I bought me a new set, going to replace back drift masters with the old ones. I understand about the cost thing, but buy the best from the start. Wish I had, bought my new ones from Grizzly jig, price is very good.

I have Two T-Bars on the front of mine and have no issues about the other rods bouncing. I also run a bar straight across the back with 8 holders as well and have no issue with those either.
