Doc Shelton, Old Dominion, existed in the 70s. They are most famous for Sneaky Bird #2, according to The Encyclopedia of Old Fishing Lures: Made in North America

Schmoopie, the answers are to be from what people know. That is why it is called trivia. "G" does this, so people can have some fun. Welcome to crappie.com

Well, if it has to be something I actually know, I'm all out of luck. I know NOTHING!

Me too!!! My father never fished, so I learned by myself, and some from an uncle. Never used any of the lures, that "G" posts, so never have an answer. My father did one time go fishing with a group from church, up on lake Erie, on a big boat, and to say the least got sick. @When he got home, he said "Never Again".

Ok guys....ripnlips nailed it, and silverside, Pico, and Schmoopie were all on it also. It was indeed David R. (Doc) Shelton and it was Old Dominion Lures.
I hope you enjoyed todays trivia, I know I did...See you next Monday morning.
Below is a picture of two of his popular baits....The one on the left is Mr. Whiskers and the one on the right is Big Mama.

Nice! Never knew that they had auto paint on them. I supposed they would really glide through the water with a good Simonize job
