How about the Glutton Dibbler.
Cotton Cordell Nip -I -Ditty .
Well guys some good guesses but gaspumper got it right. The lure was the Glutton Dibbler and the man that designed it was Clyde E. Key from Arkadelphia, Arkansas. It was produced in the late 40's. It was a great looking lure but just did not go over...maybe bad marketing and promotion, I don't know.
I hope you enjoyed todays trivia, I know i did. See you next Monday morning./ Below is a picture of this lure.

Really. It failed cause of that name. What the heck is a Glutton Dibbler. Who ever thought of that name shoulda been fired on the spot. Even naming it "Gluteus Maximus" woulda been better! :banghead
