Default Monday Morning Fishing Trivia # 38

A man in Texas invented a unique top water frog style lure around 1987-88. This lure was a popper style with a popper mouth on it. What was the name of this company and the name of this lure ? This was a very unique frog style lure.

I will give you a hint sometime before noon today and will give the answer tonight.

Ok....here is a hint.....this lure has like a spring type motor inside it.....the line tie is a 3 inch piece of braided line with a swivel on it coming out the mouth. When you pop or tug on the lure that braid pulls and winds up a spring mechanism and releases it which makes the back legs kick and that propels the lure forward in the water a few inches.
