Default Monday Morning Fishing Trivia # 35

Around 1912-13 a man from New Jersey came out with a minnow style bait. It was a large floater style bait with a large prop on it and had 3 single point hooks on it. Who was this man ? and what was the name of this bait ?

I will tell some more later on today and will give the answer tonight.

Hmmm well I had a guess, until you added single point hooks.
    Off to do some homework.

This lure had a body made out of wood and the prop on it was made out of aluminum

sounds like the jersey expert lure, except it only had two hooks and two props.

The reasoning behind the 3 single point hooks was...This MFG. was in New Jersey and their law in those days was only 3 hook points on any single fishing apparatus.

The double prop, triple sticker by Milton Bradley? Lol, no clue on this one. Interesting that fiahing rules and laws were already inacted that far back.

Maybe Jim Donaly and Redfin Floater Minnow?
My grandfather had one of these hanging in his fishing cabin. I told him it sounded more like a tuna lure.

The paint jobs on these particular lures were kind of crude....had the look like maybe a young child painted them.
