The original Live Action Frog was a goofy looking design (by today’s standards), had a front propeller, and either 2 or 3 trebles. I cannot remember if it had a treble on each rear leg or just the one.

Is it the Live Action Frog lure made by Action Frog Corporation?

Those of you that guessed Live Action Frog Lure are correct. This lure was first made in 1960 in Long Beach, California by the Live Action Frog Corporation. I think it was the only lure that they ever had in production. It only came in one color green. What made this bait unique was the prop on the front...When it turned the back legs and feet kick.

I hope you enjoyed today's Trivia...I know I did... Stay tuned, will see you next Monday morning. Below is a picture of one.
