Good job. Sounds enjoyable
After yesterday's successful trip, I just had to head back and try it again. Another solo trip, I was set up and ready to fish about 11 after handling some unexpected issues. 12 above when I hit the ice and 22 when I walked off.
Drilled my first hole right beside yesterday's honey hole but I couldn't get any of the fish there to commit and moved on to the next hole. I'd drilled 6 holes in a line up toward the middle of the deep basin and managed a fish, sometimes 2, from most of them before moving on. Happy to say that a few more crappie were successfully landed, 5 of them actually. I know that doesn't sound very exciting compared to our open water trips but for a hard water trip, I'm very content with that and consider it a big win.
I fished those 6 holes and then drilled 3 more and finished out my day on those with good action until I left them biting at 1:15.
Total for the day would be 11 perch and 5 good sized crappie and I was smiling to myself the whole day. Had a great time.

Yes, I was talking to myself; sometimes even I have to ask for expert advice.
Good job. Sounds enjoyable
Sounds good to me! I stayed home today, it was -10 when I got up this morning but I’ll be back after them later this week.

Awesome!
