    Default First fishing trip 2021


    Finally Quabbin opened on Sat. Got a chance to go Sunday. Weather was cool but great to get out in. There was absolutely no breeze from 8 - 10. Finally a very slight breeze but it changed direction about every 10 minutes. We did have 1 large school of Crappie chasing bait fish go under us and immediately we hooked and boated 4 before the school got out of casting range. The day catch wise wasn't very good but it was finally great to get out of the house after all the Covid restrictions and the winter is over. The total catch info. for the trip was only 13 Crappie, 3 bluegill, 2 yellow perch, and 1 pickerel. Hopefully I will be able to get out again within a week, till then the fish get to rest up and grow.

    And they're off and running for 2021!
    Good that you guys got out were able to feel a tug or 19. Are you guys going to be able to get back to your side pulling this year? Able to get a new motor or get the other fixed?
