    Default 2020 Wrap Up

Walt & I finally gave up the ghost for this season. With this covid crap, multiple doctor's appointments and lousy fall weather, we decided it was time. So, yesterday Walt came over and we put the boat up on jack stands and steaked her out for the winter months:

With the tires off the ground and the boat fully staked against winter winds & snow, she'll be in good shape for spring 2021.

Beyond that, in looking back at this season's fishing, we had a tremendously lousy season! Here's the breakdown of the only 10 trips we managed to get out this year.

    Crappie: 317
    Yellow Perch: 1
    White Perch: 2
    Bluegill: 42
    Pickeral: 2
    LM Bass: 13
    _____
    Total: 377

Considering that in 2019 we caught & released 1341 fish, this season was a real disappointment. However, on the bright side, we both were able to stay covid-free during this period, so I guess we have to count our lucky stars. Hope some of you had a better season than we did and that you and your entire family and friends remain healthy and safe until we can get vaccinated. God Bless you all and God Bless America.

It's sure been a tough year for you 2 guys compared to years past, that for sure. I'm thinking it's about time for me to close the book on the open water season as well.
Next year will be much better for you guys, I feel sure. Looking forward to your 1st report in the spring!

Maybe a slow season to you, but that's a more than respectable showing for sure. A whole lot of guys would kill for those kinds of numbers.
Congrats on a good season and the best of luck on the one to come.

Great that you both stayed healthy this year. That is more important than the numbers of fish caught. When you were able to get on the water you guys had some great catches in my opinion. Hopefully winter flies by and you will be back out next spring in normal fashion.
