Excellent job out there. Congrats!
Took the long ride into slabtown this morning. Was a beautiful morning. First time seeing water like glass this spring. I was on the fish by 5:30 and caught 20 by 7:30.
They were biting very light today. I kept changing colors and styles of plastics trying to find something they were really into but didn't find anything they would hit really hard. Had to let them play with it a bit. Glow in the dark seemed to work best with purple and pink combo being slightly better than blue and chartreuse.
I kept a few males. We'll get a couple of good meals out these girthy ones. Let a bunch more go free that were just as big. All females released. Not bad for 2 hrs of fishing. Water temp was 54 degrees. All fish caught were between 12 and 15 inches.

You had a good trip! That's a winning day in anybody's book. Sure was worth getting up early it seems.
Yes, I was talking to myself; sometimes even I have to ask for expert advice.
That is a great trip, congratulations!
