    Default CT Crappie Fishing

Moving from the mid west over 10 years ago it is funny to see how few people in the NE respect the crappie!

Went out with my kid last week and did okay on some spec in one of the lakes near by. With all of the boat traffic we are relegated to fishing at night right now.

Used a LED fishing light and really had good success drawing them in. Caught Crappie and Smallmouth Bass.

Glad you had a good time! That looks like a nice sized one. Yea, the bigger waters can get really busy, especially on the weekends.

Very nice crappie there! Glad to see you're getting into them. You've landed in the right place for the best crappie fishing information. And some of the best folks anywhere. Good Luck to you and your family.

Cool. My buddy and I are supposed to try fishing at night with the green light soon. Good to see it works.
