    Default Quick outing.

Haven't remembered to take the time to post this for a couple days. The wife wanted to take an evening trip Saturday so obviously I obliged. Usually I never leave until it's dark but this time ended up being different.

We fished a place I fished last week that had smaller fish but good numbers which is always fun. We got into the fish right away and were getting bites every cast for 2 and a half hours. Lots of smaller fish and most of the ones I considered keeper size were females so a lot were released. Only ended up keeping four Crappie. We caught a few White Perch and some Pumpkinseeds to help stock the cooler for the ride home though. We quit early because we had plenty of fish and the wife had to leave for Boston the next day so no need to push things. Had a great time but it was really quite windy so I couldn't get pics because I was busy keeping the boat under control. Took one pic of the catch when we got home though.

Water temp was 65 degrees. Bobby Garland Mo Glo Twilight was working well again, as was the Mo Glo Screamer.Name: 20190609_084608.jpg

Great outing with the wife. You got her into "fun fishing" and hopefully she will want to go again soon. Good looking catch you have and real good eating. Tight lines to you.
