Joined another fine fisherman today targeting Flint Pond in Worchester. We launched around 8:30 am this morning. Air was a nice 68 degrees. Water in the lower 60's. Winds were calm to light. Here's what the place looked liked:
Nice pond on the south end of Quinnsigamond Lake ("Quinny"). We trolled jigs, spinners and Road Runners. The RR's were hot, as well as action tails. We ended up with 14 fish by the time we pulled off at 1 pm. Most were crappie with 2 decent sized bluegills, 2 LM bass and one yellow perch. Here are some of the pictures we took:
All in all not a bad day to spend on the water. Great weather for a change. Unfortunately, we did not get home until 4:30 pm! There was a terrible accident on the Mass Pike, which backed up traffic for miles. When we did pull off at the next available exit, the GPS refused to "re-calculate" our route; rather it kept re-directing us back to the Pike! Ugh! Oh well, Jim was great company and it ended up being a pleasant overall experience.
Hope some of you will have the opportunity to get out and wet a line this fine weekend!

Nice catch! Looks like a great day to be on the water. A lot more comfortable than winter jackets and hats. Keep up the good work.
