Skip, you're right.. I've been a little lax lately in posting pics, figured everyone was getting tired of seeing my side imaging snapshots and stuff.. Let's agree to do better.. Thanks

I doubt anyone gets tired of seeing screen shots as well as fish pics. Heck I keep looking at the HB Side Scan and still don't know what to really think. I bought a Lowrance instead last time because the big HB was so high cost.

I got a LCX 27C and really like it a lot, but the Navionics chip makes a world of difference as does the extra size screen and pixels.

I guess my understanding is that the side scan claim to fame is the side view. This lake has so much timber that the best use of the side scan I have seen or I guess I should say the most impressive thing I have seen is someone's screen shot of a bream bed. Now that was something else. I think finding bedding bream is a very simple thing what that side scan.

Here is the pic I speak of in case anyone has not seen it...
Oh and if you look close you can actually see the bream on the beds...

I wish I had one of them HB big units too go along with my Lowrance. Don't get me wrong the LCX 27C is a great unit. map and sonar, but sure would love to be able to see them beds like that pic I posted.

I mean you can see it's 21.1' to the left of the boat and it's 4' deep. What else do you need to catch bream? You could put that cursor on it and drive right up next to it.
