I had a WS 160 for a while. It was fun on the Frio River.

I'm a transplanted Cajun living in Texas. I've been using my pirogue for duck hunting mostly but wanting to fix it up for crappie fishing. Is yours rigged out or just plain and simple?

    Default "CrappieDale" Kayak Fishing

When i go up to wisconssin during the spring of the year, theyre are some places that are just to bad to get into with a pair of waders. Thats when i break out the kayak theyre are many advantages to having one of these and if you have used one during that spawning period for both gills and slab crappies you know what im talking about. You can really reach places durring the hotter part of the day were fish are in tite cover cattails grassbeds extc. This in return alows you to exstend your fishing for the day! as well as your catch.

No Kayak, but I do almost all my fishing out of a canoe. The only reason I use a canoe instead of a kayak, is so I can bring more "stuff." Mainly a good sized cooler. I like to throw my fish on ice right away, so a canoe allows me to do that, and still get into skinny water, or big water.

I've got a Prowler Big Game and a Prowler Trident that I use almost every weekend for fishing and use them for duck hunting(they are both olive green) during the season down at Choke. Mostly go to the coast to fish with them but when I have to stay in town I hit up Canyon and Braunig.
