    not really chasing them was the deal maybe ? was after bluegill ....
    but the crappie involved ran small for sure ,
    not sure why we didn't find a larger one in the mix .
    most of the time a few nice ones are in that crowd ....
    sometimes it just is what it is I suppose ....
    maybe next time ....

    bet they are on beds in some spots as I type , I know a small lake here in dfw that has them in short water right now
